Will I have visible scars?

In some procedures, the doctor is able to place the incisions in areas where scars will be less visible. In some cases, scarring will be almost non existent, while in other procedures, there are nearly invisible scars that are difficult to detect. This depends on the procedure being performed.

The ideal candidate understands the limitations of technology and nature and has a reasonable expectation of the results of surgery. The patient should also have a good self image and reason for having the procedure. The best candidate wants to improve a certain trait, not to change the perception others have of them.
