Bellafill®

Bellafill®

Injectable dermal facial fillers are becoming increasingly popular because they can enhance your appearance without the need for surgery and downtime. Most injectable fillers are absorbed into the body over time and must be repeated every several months to a year in order to maintain improvement. Bellafill® is a semi-permanent injectable filler used to treat smile lines, lines of aging, and acne scars, with results that can last as long as five years if not longer. Bellafill® is composed of a smooth collagen gel base containing microscopic polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microspheres the size of red blood cells. The microspheres are injected into place and then act as a scaffolding around which your natural collagen builds, creating durable, natural-looking results and a refreshed complexion. Your natural collagen then becomes the filler, which is why it lasts indefinitely.

Benefits

  • Minimally invasive
  • Decreased chance of irregularities
  • FDA approved
  • Little to no downtime required
  • Long-lasting alternative to other injectable fillers

Dr. Taylor can evaluate the severity of your acne scars and facial lines and folds during a personal consultation. To determine whether you are a good candidate for Bellafill®, you and Dr. Taylor will discuss your goals, medical history, and medical conditions.

Bellafill® for Acne Scars

Patients ages 21 or older who suffer from moderate to severe facial acne scars can benefit from Bellafill® injections. Bellafill® is an outpatient procedure that involves precise injections to the problem areas that plump and smooth out acne scars.

Bellafill® for Nasolabial Folds

Nasolabial folds, or smile lines, extend from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth. Bellafill® treats smile lines by adding volume to the creases to smooth the nasolabial area, creating a youthful surface.

Recovery and Results

There is no downtime required after Bellafill® treatment, and patients can resume their daily activities immediately. Results from Bellafill® last longer than that of hyaluronic acid-based fillers (which are completely temporary), giving patients a smoother complexion for up to five years.
