Body Contouring

Body contouring can help you achieve the look you have always wanted. Whether you struggle with stubborn fat deposits, loose skin, or want a specific area touched up, body contouring can reshape your body to match your goals. This can increase your confidence in wearing that outfit you’ve been eyeing, allow you more comfort in social or professional situations, or help to restore and tighten your body contours following pregnancy or significant weight loss.

Dr. Taylor offers surgical and non-surgical body contouring procedures to slim, tighten, and sculpt your silhouette.

Arm Lift

An arm lift is a surgical procedure meant to reduce fat deposits and loose skin in the upper arms. This can reduce sagging, flabbiness, and provide a more youthful appearance. The surgery takes between two and three hours to perform, and recovery generally takes one to two weeks. Initial results are apparent immediately, but final results may not be visible for up to six months.

BodyTite®

BodyTite® is a non-surgical minimally-invasive treatment that uses radio-frequency energy to remove fat and tighten skin. It uses a customized tool that emits radio-frequency energy, coupled with a small antenna-like piece inserted under the skin, to target fat deposits and areas of loose skin. This is one of the only FDA-approved techniques for tightening the skin. Recovery is fast, and patients are able to return to work within three to five days of their treatment.

CoolSculpting®

CoolSculpting® is a non-surgical procedure that removes fat from the abdomen and other regions of the body by introducing controlled cooling. It uses a pair of panels to enclose and freeze the areas containing fat pockets. These cold temperatures cause fat cells to break down and be naturally eliminated from the body. Because this is a non-surgical procedure, there is no scarring or significant discomfort. Most patients are able to return to work immediately after treatment, but final results may take a few weeks or months to develop fully.

Liposuction

Liposuction surgery uses small tubes to reduce unwanted fat deposits from almost any area in the body. This is not a weight-loss procedure, and candidates should be within 30 pounds of their desired weight before undergoing a liposuction operation. Because it is a surgical procedure, recovery may take a few weeks and require a compression garment.

Mini Tummy Tuck

A mini tummy tuck addresses fat and loose skin between the belly button and pubic bone. It may reduce fat deposits and tighten skin, but does not move the belly button or result in scarring to the same extent as a traditional tummy tuck. Recovery, which involves wearing a compression garment, may take between two and three weeks, but most patients can return to work within five to seven days.

Tummy Tuck

A tummy tuck surgery is used to tighten abdominal muscles, excise excess skin, and remove unwanted fat deposits. It involves an incision from hip to hip just below the bikini line and results in a tighter, younger-looking abdomen, reversing the impact of pregnancy, weight gain, or aging. Recovery will involve wearing a compression garment, and small tubes may be used to drain excess fluid from the incision site. Initial recovery will likely take between three and four weeks, with patients returning to work after that period. Final results may not appear until six months post-operation.

Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty surgery involves delicately reshaping the labia or ‘inner lips’ of the vulva. This can change the aesthetic appearance of the vulva or reshape the labia to promote better sexual stimulation for the patient and her partner. The recovery period is short, and side effects, such as scarring, are generally minimal.

Mommy Makeover

A Mommy Makeover procedure is a series of surgeries designed to reverse the effects of pregnancy on a woman’s body. This includes tightening abdominal muscles and skin, removing stubborn fat pockets, lifting sagging breasts, and more. The operation may include any combination of liposuction, tummy tuck, breast lift, or breast augmentation procedures. The initial recovery (during which women are advised not to work) lasts approximately two weeks, with final recovery occurring within six weeks.
